The 6 days safari takes you to the two East African countries of Rwanda and Uganda. You will experience the feel of African savanna drive in the plains of Akagera national park in Rwanda and this will give you a big 5 experience with the recent introduction of Rhinos and Lions that added to the big 3 that were in the park. Crossing the border to Uganda, you experience the ultimate gorilla tracking in the rainforest of Bwindi and visit the Batwa communities. You will then drive to Kigali for your exit flight.
Upon Arrival of your international flight, you will be met by our representative and transferred to a hotel in Kigali where you will have dinner and an overnight stay.

In the morning after breakfast, You will do a city tour in Kigali by visiting Mount Kigali where you will visit Fazenda, from there you will Gisozi memorial site for learning more about genocide against Tutsi of 1994, and campaign against genocide, visit Kimironko local market and have lunch at a local restaurant. You will after, drive to Akagera national park in the north east corner of Rwanda (about a 3hr 30mins) drive. On reaching you check in at your lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight stay.

Wake up early in the morning have breakfast at the lodge and carry packed lunch. Start your morning game drive, which takes you on tops of rolling hills surrounded by beautiful lakes from the south up to the north, on top of a hill when watching a magic view of 3 lakes in the same time. During the drive you will enjoy the wildlife in the park from the Big game like Lions, Rhinos, buffaloes, elephants, hard to spot Leopard and other wildlife like antelopes and species of birds like Egyptian goose and fishing eagle. You will have a picnic lunch in the park then continue with the hills game drive. Here you meet all animals known to be roaming in a game park: impalas, zebras, bushbucks, waterbucks, tops, orbits, baboons, giraffes, cape elands, and so many others. Take a boat trip on Lake Ihema in the afternoon where you will in a relaxed way enjoy the views of wildlife drinking on Lake Ihema and variety of water birds. You will after return to the lodge for relaxation and dinner.

Wake up early in the morning and have breakfast at your lodge. You will then embark on the 5hrs 30mins journey from Akagera national park to the home of gorillas in Uganda- Bwindi Impenetrable national park. Upon arrival at the lodge you will have a relaxed evening overlooking the terraced hills of the areas as you wait for your adventure the next day.

In the morning have breakfast at your lodge and carry packed lunch. Your driver guide will take you to the park headquarters and assemble at the park headquarters for a briefing from the park rangers about the dos and don’ts while with the gorillas. Proceed for the adventure in the forest as you are led by trackers and ranger guides, an activity that may take 2-8 hours depending on the movement of the gorillas in the wilderness. Meet and stay with the mountain gorillas for a maximum of an hour. Return to the lodge for relaxation. In the evening, you go for a community walk in the nearby Batwa community, where you will be entertained and told the tales of their unique culture.

Early morning after a heavy breakfast, you will drive from your lodge in Bwindi Impenetrable national park to Kigali. You will have lunch in Kigali and after your driver guide will transfer you to the airport for your departure flight. This will mark the end of the tour
